Through these actions, Médecins du Monde bears witness to the difficulties encountered by people who are homeless or living in informal settlements in asserting their rights and accessing healthcare. Given the public authorities' inability to provide sustainable solutions for the hundreds of thousands of homeless people,

Médecins du Monde campaigns for the right to decent and sustainable housing for all as an essential determinant of health, to which all people must have access without discrimination. We carry out advocacy work with institutions to promote appropriate and sustainable accommodation and housing facilities, as well as mobile facilities that provide effective medical and psychosocial treatment and access to care for the most excluded.
